Hey FRC Family!
After recently finding out that our upcoming venue for January Movie Nights received substantial damage due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we’ve finally “landed” (pun-intended) at a new venue…in Lakeland, Florida (exact location to be disclosed upon Membership to RCA/FRC).
There are only 20 sites available and we have reserved all of them. Sites have 20/30/50A service. There are also bathroom and shower facilities. If need be, there will be a waitlist which will be monitored in case any parties cancel. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please be sure to cancel it before January 2, 2025 by 3:00pm EST.
We have a great raffle for this trip. Luno Life has donated a AIR+FOAM PRO Mattress for your Rivian R1S (a $499.99 value). https://lunolife.com/products/air-foam-pro-rivian-r1s-mattress. We’ll be working on something for the R1T owners in attendance as well. Standby for more details as we receive them.
For those that want to attend but don’t camp, we have coordinated with a nearby Hotel exactly six miles away to block off 10 rooms. Be sure to book Guest Passes for your entire group. Before you call the hotel to book your room, please ensure you finish registration here so that we have an up-to-date room availability count. If you cancel for any reason, be sure to also cancel here.
Prices are listed in the registration options. If there is more than one person in your party, they require a guest pass of $30 per person. If you have any questions, please reach out to me on here or by phone at 904.382.1197.
Attendees can cancel without penalty before Tue, Jan 2, 3:00 PM EST. Thereafter, attendees are charged immediately upon registration. No refunds.

Schedule
We have a great schedule of events for the weekend which are outlined below:
- FRC member, Nick Toutoungi, COO of Epic Outdoor Events will be providing a HUGE projector screen, projector, and speakers for our nightly double features.
- Friday is check-in, setup camp, and evening movie double-feature.
- Saturday afternoon family games like kickball, cornhole, spikeball, and our new favorite game, Kubb. We will also have a catered dinner from Lakeland BBQ, followed by our evening movie double-feature.
- Sunday morning we will have donuts and coffee provided by Rockstar Donuts. For those interested (additional fees apply), we’ll be headed to Zephyrhills Municipal Airport for glider flights! Sunday evening we will have another evening double feature.
- Monday is check-out. On the way out, we will complete a mild section of the Croom Wilderness Management Area before eating lunch and heading home.
