Hello FRC Family!
We will be having an off-road trail ride event in the Picayune Strand State Park located between the Alligator Alley (I-75) and Tamiami Trail (US-41) just east of Naples on May 26th from 10 am – 2 pm. There will be opportunities for mud, some water, sand and off camber driving along the trails. There are side routes along most obstacles should you not want to go through a mud hole. I will lead the group through the easiest line throughout the day. We will have a safety briefing prior to the ride at 10 am at the Sabal Palm Hiking Trail Parking Lot.
Some trails are narrow in areas and some pinstriping may occur. This trail ride can be ridden on 20″, 21″ and 22″ wheels. We will have recovery gear on hand should anyone get stuck in the mud like I did earlier in the month.
A GMRS radio is highly recommended and will be used throughout the ride.
