Hey FRC Family!
Our September Camping & Off-roading Trip is here! We’ll be heading out for a weekend (9/27/24-9/29/24) of camping, off-roading, and fellowshipping with other members. It’s a great way to experience Florida and see how the more experienced campers set up their R1s to get the most out of their adventure vehicle.
This is a Members-Only trip.
To become a member and join us on these Members-Only trips, head over to rivianclubs.org/membership. Once you’ve joined, we can forward the pertinent details of this trip to you. For as little as $60/year, your entire family could join us on any of these Members-Only trips and take advantage of some other great membership perks like becoming a member of Tread Lightly!
Check-in as early as 3:00p. For those planning on also attending the drive portion, we recommend grabbing a quick charge before making it to camp. Any use of AC, or the onboard inverter and your range increase overnight will be lower than what you may need.
For those that want to do a bit of off-roading Saturday, we will break camp at 9:30am to head out on some trails for the day. When we are done, we can head back to camp. For those that want to hang out, there are plenty of things to do. Jimmy will be reaching out to Park officials to see if there is an opportunity for a park cleanup on Saturday for those that don’t attend the drive but want to get in some steps and do something good for our park system.
Check-out for Sunday is 1:00p. There are plenty of things for the group to do before we all head home. Go hiking, take a nice mountain bike trail ride, fishing (with license if required), or go canoeing/kayaking.
*For those planning on attending the drive portion, please bring your FRS/GMRS radio. If you do not have one, we will have some to borrow during the drive.
